I was really nervous, as I knew no one, and I ended up sitting in the same compartment as Justin did. We really didn’t talk a whole lot, I was too excited to really say much, and I’m not certain why he didn’t, but nevertheless, the ride to Hogwarts was filled with a lot of silence along with an occasionally comment or question. After that, I really only saw him in the corridors every so often. A few months into school though, we actually talked, I don’t remember what made us actually sit down and have a conversation, but I’m glad we did. That conversation made us a sort of friend. From then on we would stop and talk to one another when we had a chance, then soon I was actually seeking him out for conversation. I kind of harbor a crush on the boy, though I try not to make that well known, it would be kind of embarrassing as we are really only friends. JUSTIN said- "So, like it all began on the trip to Hogwarts. I was an eager fifth year student, and she was a second year. There were so many questions I had, but I was far too nervous to ask them. So instead, we sat in silence. Occasionally I would ask a question, such as what house she was in, and such, but for the most part we were completely quiet. We ended up seeing each other in the hallways daily, giving each other friendly 'hellos' I think we first really became friends on Halloween that year when a troll somehow made its way into the castle. I remember being so terrified, and Kenzie seeing me and comforting me. I think since then we've really been friends. In my second year, after getting petrified, I was lated told that she came to see me each day before and after classes. As I recall, she was one of the first people I saw when I awoke from my petrification. Since then, we've been really close. When the Slytherins started amassing their domination over the others, she quickly established herself as my “protector.” As embarrassing as it is to think of a girl protecting me, it's amazing to know that she has my back!
