PATRONUS: Robin
PERSONALITY: Nice, though a little incertain girl. Ever since Anwen was born, she was compared with her, naturally. And Anwen was already -very- photogenic as a child. And Morwen wasn't. Also, Lucy likes pointing out that Anwen is actually a pureblood, while Morwen's and Arthur's mother's a muggle. She has had a little trouble with all the divorce-thing, more than her brother.
Though she's shy in the beginning, you'll find that Morwen is (usually) a happy and fun girl to be around once you know her and are her friend - friends mean everything to her and she'll be right there for you any moment of the day (or night, for that matter). (Just don't mention her weight, she feels self conscious about her body and will reply rather snappy.) Also, she's never had a boyfriend before, though she's had male friends and is not too shy around those. It's probably the idea of having to have sex -naked- that scares her off.
Morwen is a curious individual and is not afraid to explore things other people might be frightened away by. She is intelligent, but in stead of being more rational like her sister Anwen (who’s in Ravenclaw), she allows her emotions to rule her, mostly. When she’s friends with someone, she will share everything with them, baring her core to them and, actually, she expects the other to do the same. She’s extremely loyal and that’s where she finds her trust in people. When her best friend is suddenly absorbed by another and unwilling to talk about it, though, her loyalty can turn into jealousy.
She’s nowhere near fun, however, when you catch her in the wrong mood. Born on November 17th, Morwen is a typical Scorpio. She’s passionate, committed and in the same turn, if you are an enemy, she can be just as intensely ruthless. Scorpios are so intense, there are few challenges they are not willing to meet and for her friends, she’ll go through fire (unless they backstab her; the tables’ll turn completely). Also, Morwen holds grudges. Intensely. When annoyed or hurt by you in any way, she’ll remember everything until the last drop and then she’ll use all this information to bring you down. This is often like a flood, as she'll seldom give you any indication of how she feels about you until it's too late. It often comes as a surprise.
Throughout her life, Morwen's passion has been writing, music and reading. Also, she likes acting, but the opportunity doesn’t always occur. She’s good at sorting out emotions and putting them on paper or out to stage, as her way of life revolves around emotions. Once she's on stage or singing, all that usual shyness which seems to be her upper layer (at least to non-friends) melts off and the person on that stage seems no one like Morwen. Also, she writes poetry under the pseudonym 'Psyche', too afraid to be criticised in case she publishes under her own name.

You were never as good at dancing as you evidently thought,
You swear that you were charming once, I promise you were not...
HAIR/EYES: Both darkbrown and in this she resembles her brother, even though his eyes are a tad lighter, with specks of gold. Her thick, untamable locks are absolutely the same as Arthur's, though. She wears them long and layered and enjoys their playfullness as the ends curl in random directions. Also, she thinks long hair makes her face seem less round. Her eyes are, as said, darker than Arthur's and are an open window into her emotions.
HEIGHT/WEIGHT: She's rather short and a little plump (say, 1.62 and 65 to 70 kilo's (I'll convert later, I promise?)). Morwen hates it, especially as Anwen has the willowy built of her mother (who's Morwen's stepmother) and, though younger, is a whole lot taller than her already. Actually, Morwen doesn't look so bad. A bit curvy, sure, but not obese or unhealthy.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Not extremely pretty, especially not compared to her sister (though I suppose it also depends on your tastes). Morwen is, to begin with, not so very thin and not so very tall. She looks most like her brother Arthur, but her skin is not as tanned as his and he has a more athletic build.
Clothing-wise, Morwen fits nowhere. Secretly, she loves all those cute frilly, gothic lolita dresses, but she knows those'll never look good on her. She likes the darker side of fashion, but doesn't always wear that for the low clevages (she has quite the EE cup) so she just.. mixes everything a little. Usually, she just wears her uniform as she should, but depending on her mood, she dresses differently. As she can change like the wind, she can be all dolled-up one day and then the next not at all.
Despite her shape, she manages to move quite graciously. She has some sort of natural charm to her, enhanced by her dark eyes and full lips. Boys who aren't afraid of a girl with a bit more weight than usual might like her as well, but are often chased away by her explosive nature. Her hands are very expressive and rarely rest in her lap quietly. They move practically all the time, even when she's not talking, unless she's tired or hurt.

PARENTS/GUARDIANS:
- Actual parents: William and Rianne
- Stepmother: Lucy
OTHER NOTABLE RELATIVES:
- Brother: Arthur
- Half-sister: Anwen
CHARACTER HISTORY: Their father, William, was a wizard who was happily married to Rianne (who was a muggle and had no knowledge whatsoever of the wizarding world). After a about a year of marriage, the stork dropped off their first child: a son, and they called him Arthur.
William had met Rianne during a concert after he’d just graduated from Hogwarts and had no idea what he wanted to do with his life. When he met Rianne, though, he fell for her instantly and she for him, too. She was, however, a muggle and William was too afraid she would think he was insane if he told her about his magical abilities so he never told her, got a muggle job and for years, it wasn’t a problem. By the time Rianne was pregnant with Morwen, though, Arthur started showing signs of magical ability and William was forced to tell his wife about the life he’d had before her. Needless to say, Rianne was absolutely shocked and wasn’t sure if she could adapt to such a world which she knew nothing about and which would, perhaps, never even accept her. Slowly, the couple started growing apart. William had an affair with another woman, who was actually an old friend from Hogwarts, Lucy, who also got pregnant (with Anwen). Eventually, ofcourse, it ended up in a divorce and William married Lucy.
A few days after Morwen’s first birthday, Lucy gave birth to Anwen and they were once happy family, right? Apart from the occasional shouting between Rianne and William about the kids (especially Morwen, because she'd been born during the whole divorce-thing). As Morwen’s a very loyal person, the divorce was really hard on her, as she didn’t want to lose both her parents and loved them both. She hardly has any contact with her biological mother at this point, though.
The two girls were very close until primary school started for the both of them. Not only did they have different interests and friends, but also, Lucy continually told Anwen that she, au contraire to the other two children, was a pureblood and, thus, worth more. Maybe she was not as pleasant a woman as William had thought. Either way, this hurt Morwen a lot and she grew a lot closer to her older brother, who instantly grew to fit into the protective brother’s role. Until Arthur, as the first of three, was accepted into Hogwarts the three siblings were still remotely close to each other. As the eldest left, though, Morwen and Anwen only grew apart even further. Anwen was encouraged by her mother to do things with her and Morwen, as her father was mostly out making money or busy with other things. This was an excuse, however, and Morwen knew that all too well. She knew that her father had always been better with boys, playing quidditch or doing other boyish-things. William simply didn’t know how to handle a young girl who felt left behind by her brother and mother and overshadowed by her younger sister, so Morgan usually just tried to keep herself busy and read.
She was overjoyed, ofcourse, when she was accepted into Hogwarts as well. For one, she’d see Arthur again and secondly, Anwen was immensely jealous because she had to wait for another year. Morwen instantly felt at home at the school and was easily accepted into her house. Ofcourse, there’s been some drama but whose teenage life is completely flawless and without fights and such things? A year later, Anwen also joined Hogwarts, but they ignore eachother, mostly. Anwen occasionally tries to get in Morwen’s way to show her she feels superior over her, but Morwen has her ways of fighting back. And ofcourse, if she needs someone to understand her better than anyone ever could, there’s always Arthur.

Yet I could not harm you even if I tried,
So don't, don't, don't blame me...
EXPERIENCE: RPing since I was.. 15, so that's 5 years (:
OTHER CHARACTERS: None (yet!)
ROLE PLAY SAMPLE:
The owlery was not one of Morwen's favourite places. For one, it smelled quite bad. Two, well.. birds were not her favourite animals. Well.. only birds with beaks made for crushing bones and claws that could easily rip your skin. The owl's eyes just made her feel uneasy and the fact there were so many of them and so few or her (only one, to be precise) sometimes made her bones ache. Still, at least she could be sure she'd have some privacy there. She had a letter to her dad which she still had to finish, but her dormmates (no matter how nice) had decided on truth or dare and she wanted to finish this letter in peace.
Dear dad,
Morwen paused. Such an impersonal way to start, but she wasn't that close with her father, after all. The least she could do was call him 'dad' in stead of a far more formal 'father'.
Thanks for your concern considering the rumours here at school. I'm quite well and so is Arthur. I just try to keep as far from everything as possible and commit to my studies, as I know that's how you'd want me to act.
A lie. Morwen hated sitting down at the sidelines while there was something that could be done, but she had no intentions of sharing this with her father for several reasons.
One, he was still her father and might worry. Two, Lucy might read it and tell Anwen, who would surely do everything to get in her way. Third, well.. she wasn't sure if it would be a good idea to have that kind of information written down in a letter, so it might be used as some kind of evidence. Morwen wasn't suspicious or paranoid by nature, but the few weeks since this new schoolyear had started, had taught her that there surely had been some changes and that caution was certainly not unnecessary.
Nodding to herself a little, she finished the letter.
Please give mom my best if you see her. Or send me her actual address so I can try mail her the muggle way. I wouldn't want to shock her by sending an owl. She might disown me.
Small joke to lighten the overal, formal tone of the letter.
I hope you're well.
Love.
Walking towards the nearest owl, she reluctantly tied it to its leg and carefully petted it. The nocturnal animal moved it's head a little, nudged her hand and flew off. Morwen was just glad she had not encountered a capricious owl this time and slowly made her way downstairs and back to her dorm, smiling a little as she suddenly thought of a splendid dare she might use if her dormmates were still up for it.
