Morwen streched herself, lazily strolling about the courtyard. Her classes were over for the day, so she still had a few hours to herself, and was now in search of something to occupy her mind. Her friends were busy finishing a potionsessay. Morwen had skipped the last trip to Hogsmead to finish it, but her friends had wanted to go to Zonko's, which meant they had to wrap up the essay right now, while the weather was so nice. Morwen wore a thoughtful expression, in dubio about going back inside and joining them or walking around outside for a bit to see what she might bump into.
On one hand, she wanted to be around her friends, no matter what they were doing. But they were busy and she would most likely distract them - something she wasn't aiming for. Besides.. the weather was nice. It was only 4 pm, but the sun was steadily moving towards the other end of the horizon. Or, well, actually.. the globe was turning, ofcourse. But who cared.
The Hufflepuff sat down on a low wall, glancing at the few other students who'd chosen to be there. Some Griffindors in the distance who were clearly instigating one of them to ask a girl out. She rolled her eyes and grinned, shaking her head.
Under a tree not too far away sat some Ravenclaws reading and, every once in a while, discussing something that was, probably, beyond the normal study subjects. No matter what it was about, Morwen was sure she probably wouldn't understand.
Either way, she was just glad there were no Slytherins around. She was not in the mood for insults, both giving and receiving them. Concerning that matter: she was also glad her sister was not around. Half-sister, she corrected herself. Anwen was only halfrelated to her. Luckily.
She sighed a little. Sitting on your own was just no good.
Slowly, Morwen went about getting up, eventually deciding that, perhaps, sitting with friends and half-distracting them wasn't so bad. They had distracted her often enough, too, and who cared, anyway? Maybe they wanted her essay for 'inspiration'. Morwen didn't mind, if they wanted to cheat, it was their own choice anyway.
Besides, the sooner they were not occupied by homework anymore, the sooner they just could go have fun somewhere.
Hoisting up her bag a little higher, Morwen started making her way towards the schoolbuilding again.
